Abraham Lincoln issued greenbacks — sovereign, debt-free money. Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110 for silver certificates. Gaddafi proposed a gold-backed African dinar. The structural pattern is sufficient. Bitcoin is the first attempt that has no leader to shoot.
